Re: CBA and Financials
CBA update effective 2012 offseason
Myself and the Admin team are always keen to listen to feedback from GMs on ideas that you all feel would help make this league the best football SIM league around.
With the off-season coming up shortly after the superbowl I thought u would quickly update you on some important CBA changes that are coming based on your feedback last off-season.
1. Hard cap increases
You may remember we said that the hardcap will be increasoning in a staggered fashion over the next few years. A reminder that this year's hardcap will be $131m.
2. Minimum salary requirements
One of the things we have had feedback on is the high salary demands for the bottom end players. Which means most teams are running with smaller rosters than we had originally planned forcing teams to play guys out of positions due to injuries etc. So with this in mind effective this off-season the minimum salary requirements for overall rating are being halved. This should hopefully ensure that teams can pick up players and fill out rosters with an increasing cap. We will of course review how this goes and adjust if this does not have the intended result.
Overall 95+ - $2,000,000
Overall 90+ - $1,750,000
Overall 80+ - $1,250,000
Overall 70+ - $500,000
Overall 60+ - $175,000
Draft minimum - $350,000
As always thanks for your dedication and passion to help drive the CSFL community forward!

CBA update
Releasing players
- If the player being releases is a WR, RB and a FB they should be released at their natural position.
