Going to start a weekly recap of the greatest football conference on Earth, as much as possible. Will try to do something every week.

Week 4 Recap...It's Game Time Baby!

Week 4 brought the first week of conference play. Not necessarily the most exciting action, but football is football.

#1 Auburn 49, #21 Texas A&M 14
Auburn started their quest to repeat as conference champs with an impressive defeat of the Aggies, running the ball for 430 yards and 7 TDs as their rushing attack looks absolutely unstoppable.

#2 LSU 55, Ole Miss 0
The Tigers straight-up disrespected the Rebels in Oxford in an absolute beatdown, sophomore WR Kim Quinn stole the show with 146 yards and all three of Tony Siegal's passing touchdowns.

#4 Alabama 62, South Carolina 20
The Crimson Tide may have lost their head coach in the offseason, but show no signs of slowing down in this one. Freshman RB Travis McDaniel a 5-star recruit who red-shirted last season, found the end zone three times on the ground.

#13 Florida 52, Vanderbilt 20
Sophomore QB Frank Havens, who had only thrown the ball 21 times in Florida's first two games, had an absurd day with 5 TDs and 315 yards on just 20 attempts but the Gators' defensive performance left something to be desired.

#20 Georgia 31, Kentucky 30
Kentucky lost their starting QB, Bradley Craddock, but still managed to give Georgia a scare. The Dawgs needed a 4 yard catch from senior tight end Lance Cole, his first in his entire college career, with 1:26 remaining to avoid an upset after turning the ball over three times.

Arkansas 38, Mississippi 24
Arkansas won a hard-fought and evenly matched battle that produced some of the best football of the day. Freshman QB Felipe Andre put the team ahead with a 7-yard strike late in the fourth quarter.

Tennessee 35, Missouri 28
The first overtime game of the season saw Thomas Durand get his first career rushing touchdown to put the Vols ahead and then the Tennessee defense stop the Tigers three times in a row on their own size yard line to eek out a huge win on the road.

Week 5 Preview: Test For the Defending Champs?

GOTW: #13 Florida at #1 Auburn
Auburn is the best team in the country and coming off back-to-back NCG appearances, but Florida will be a nice test for them to see if there is any aspect of their game they need to improve on going forward. Meanwhile, the Gators dream of knocking off the mighty Tigers on their own turf.

Kentucky @ #2 LSU
Kentucky nearly pulled off the upset against Georgia, could they do the unthinkable this week in Baton Rouge?

#20 Georgia @ Mississippi
Georgia needs to get their confidence back after a tough non-conference loss and a scary game against the aforementioned Kentucky.

Mississippi @ #4 Alabama, Vanderbilt @ #21 Texas A&M, Tennessee @ Arkansas, Missouri @ South Carolina

Recruiting Roundup
Texas A&M, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina all have already landed 4-stars. Could 5-stars start to sign this week?
