Initial Team Prestiges

Post by Rizzo » Mon Dec 30, 2019 2:16 pm

Here's a link to the initial team prestige rankings. I'd like to hear what people think and if there are any obvious changes that should be made I'm more than willing to do that.

One disclaimer: you CANNOT ask to have your team's prestige bumped up! I want to see what other schools around the country deserve a boost or a nerf based on what we know about them in real life right now.

Google Sheets link: HERE
New England Patriots
2011: 8-8, Missed Playoffs
2010: 14-2, Lost in Super Bowl I

Washington Huskies

I've updated the Google Sheet with two new tabs. The first one is the change in prestige with it set to Normal and the last tab is the change in prestige with it set to High. I'd like people to look at the data and let me know what they think.

I feel like Alabama still should be above LSU? I mean his season LSU might be on top but in terms of prestige I think Bama still is king.

I also think some of the non power-5 teams are too high...Memphis, Boise State, Houston, USF, even UCF do not pull in top 50 recruiting classes generally speaking.

I tend to agree with you. Throw out some suggestions as to what they should be rated and we can talk this out.
